This book is so full of ideas and inspiration for preschoolers (would work for primary grades as well-very adaptable). It covers every part of the curriculum and includes stories,songs and printables for activities. I've already used some ideas and will put it to use this coming school year with 4 yr olds. This is the most complete resource book I've ever seen.

This book is an extremely helpful resource for writing out your weekly/monthly curriculum! It has varied themes and activities that are hands on and fun!
I went to a book store to look at it before I purchased ( as no samples were available). The book is well stocked with a ton of ideas! Another book to check out is Creative Resources for the Early Childhood Classroom ( save yourself some money and get the 4th edition - I haven't seen the 3rd- But the 4th and 5th editions are identical).

This is the greatest book I have ever used in my 12 years teaching preschool. I cannot reccommend it enough. THe children LOVE all the activities and cant wait to come in every day and it has given the staff a new enthuasiam that is just fantastic!!! You cannot afford NOt to buy this book

I just recieved this book in the mail and I am SOO EXCITED to use it! I am beginning to home preschool my daughter and needed sources to pull from for ideas. I have many other books, but none others have excited me like this. It may be that it is so simply put that it is not intimidating, or that the themes and activites just simply sound like fun! The book provides many different approaches to teaching each theme. Some activities are art, dramatic play, fine motor skills, math, music, writing and more. It appears to provide one large theme that spans 1-2 weeks, focusing on a smaller theme each day. The appendix full of songs, stories, project descriptions, patterns, etc is a full half of the book! The appendix excites me as much or more than the actual curriculum... packed full of great material! If I had to choose from all of the books I have as resources, I would choose this one. I really wish I had gotten this book first.
